SUB TODAY. Go to the CDC WEBSITE. CDC stands for the Center for Disease Control. This website is a great wealth of information and you might use it often yourself.
FIRST - realize lots of people work very hard to make your food safe and healthy. It is VERY amazing that we only have a few problems each year and most of the time people only get sick. Be careful choosing food, but you don't need to let this exercise get you overly concerned.
Start by clicking on 2006-2009 outbreaks. This website summarizes food poisoning outbreaks that were large or national or requlred recall of products.
Make a chart on your paper. On the left put the year and food in the outbreak (like spinace, Taco Bell, beef, etc.). Next, write how many got sick. Next, how many deaths. Next, how many states. Finally, how much product was recalled. Some of the information isn't given on all cases - just put ? for these. Dig and read a little before you assume nothing is given.
Here is the LINK AGAIN if the other one didn't work or go to https://www.cdc.gov/ecoli/outbreaks.html
You may SKIP and not do any that involve another country (like the one on Germany and the one on Lebanon).
Do the 16 (sixteen) cases from 2008 to 2014.
