1.  Define “Littoral zone”.

2.  Go to the Navy’s website about LCS.

    a.  What does LCS stand for?

    b.  What are the two types of LCS variants?

    c.  Name the 3 LCS mission packages and define them briefly.

    d.  Name the 5 surface warfare weapons available to the LCS.

3.  Go to the AUSTAL site.

    a.  Check out the 4 Nov 2019 news about the KANSAS. 

         i.  Which variant is the KANSAS?

         ii.  How many of this variant of LCS has AUSTAL gotten through sea trials?

         iii.  How many other LCS like KANSAS are under construction and what are their names?

    b.  Go to OUR HISTORY. 

         i.  What year did AUSTAL start in Mobile?  What was the facility size?  About how many people worked there?

         ii.  Now what is the facility size?  Now about how many people work there?

         iii.  Explain the AIDT Maritime Training Center (MTC).  How big is it?  Who built it?  What does the MTC do?

    c.  Go to CAREERS and filter by MOBILE.  Choose 3 careers and briefly explain the job and also write at least 2 of the qualifications.

    a.  Go to INDIVIDUAL TRAINING and then COURSE CATALOG.

        i.  Write down the 9 course categories offered.

        ii.  What benefit is there to completing the NCCER core curriculum course.
